Ann Marie was born and raised in Hurricane, West Virginia, where growing up playing soccer sparked an early passion for athletic performance, fitness, and rehabilitation. Ann Marie attended Marshall University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science while also playing on the Women’s Soccer Team. This experience as a student athlete helped shape her understanding of injury, recovery, teamwork, and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle. She continued her education at Marshall University, where she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and further developed her clinical reasoning and patient care skills.
She is passionate about helping individuals of all ages regain strength, confidence, and function so they can return to the activities that matter most to them. Her approach emphasizes patient-centered care to build long-term healthy movement habits. Ann Marie wants to help people get back to feeling like themselves and doing the things they love. Whether that’s returning to a sport, keeping up with kids, or simply moving without pain, her goal is always to help patients feel confident in what their bodies can do.
Outside of the clinic, Ann Marie enjoys staying active and being outside. You’ll usually find her hiking, running, walking her dog, swimming, doing Pilates, cycling, or working out at the gym. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing board games, watching movies, and finding new fun ways to move. She enjoys staying active and finds it rewarding helping others find that same enjoyment in movement.
