Our expert team combines clinical excellence with athletic insight to create recovery plans that don't just heal injuries—they rebuild athletes. Whether you're dealing with acute trauma, overuse injuries, or performance limitations, we're committed to helping you surpass your previous capabilities.
Schedule Your SessionMost athletes we see fall into one of these categories. If yours isn't listed, call us — we'll tell you honestly whether physical therapy is the right next step.
Post-surgical ACL reconstruction rehab, meniscus and ligament injuries, patellar tendon pain, and jumper's knee — through full return-to-cutting and landing mechanics.
The most common sports injury, and the most commonly rushed. We rebuild balance, strength, and confidence so the same ankle doesn't roll again mid-season.
Rotator cuff strains, labral irritation, thrower's shoulder, and overhead pain in baseball, softball, volleyball, swimming, and lifting.
Sprinting and change-of-direction injuries that re-tear when athletes go back too soon. We use objective strength testing before clearing you.
Achilles and patellar tendinopathy, shin splints, tennis and golfer's elbow, hip flexor pain — the injuries that build slowly from training load.
Low back pain from lifting, rotational sports, and repetitive extension, plus hip impingement and labral irritation.
Knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle surgeries. We follow your surgeon's protocol and then keep building past the point most rehab stops.
Dizziness, balance problems, and neck pain that linger after a head injury, coordinated with your physician's return-to-play clearance.
Feeling better is not the same as being ready. Here is how we move an injured athlete all the way back to competing without holding their breath.
A one-hour assessment with your doctor of physical therapy: what happened, how you move, where the strength and mobility gaps are, and what your season looks like.
Hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, and IASTM as needed to reduce pain and restore range of motion so real training can begin.
Progressive loading and strength work, including blood flow restriction training when weight-bearing is limited, until the injured side tests equal to the healthy side.
Sport-specific speed, cutting, jumping, landing, and throwing progressions, plus a plan to keep the injury from coming back once you're cleared.
Faith in Motion was built by athletes for athletes — our founder, Dr. Faith Mynes, competed as a Division I collegiate soccer player before becoming a physical therapist, so she knows what being sidelined actually costs you.
Football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, wrestling, track, cheer, and gymnastics athletes across Putnam County who need to get back before the season slips away.
Home for break or training year-round, with rehab that coordinates with your school's athletic trainer or strength coach.
Squat, deadlift, press, and overhead pain assessed by clinicians who lift and understand training — usually without telling you to stop training entirely.
Shin splints, IT band pain, Achilles issues, and stress-related injuries, with gait and training-load changes that hold up over long mileage.
Rec-league, golf, pickleball, and gym athletes who want to keep playing in their 40s, 50s, and beyond without living on ibuprofen.
Growth-plate and overuse injuries in young multi-sport and single-sport athletes, with honest guidance for parents on training volume and rest.
Sooner is almost always better. Early evaluation tells us whether the injury needs imaging or a physician, and starting appropriate movement early usually shortens the total time away from your sport.
Rarely. In most cases we modify what you do rather than shut it down, so you keep conditioning and confidence while the injured area heals.
It depends on the injury. A simple sprain or strain may take a few weeks; ACL reconstruction rehab is a months-long process. You'll get a realistic timeline at your evaluation, not a vague answer.
Yes, and we prefer it. When your therapist, coach, and athletic trainer agree on your plan, return-to-play goes much more smoothly.
Sports rehab often draws on several of these. Explore anything below or ask about it at your evaluation.
If you've suffered an ACL tear, you know how devastating this injury can be. Your knee feels unstable, you may be in pain, and returning to sports or other activities seems out of reach.
If old injuries, post-op restrictions, or medical conditions are hindering your strength, muscle, and endurance gains, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training can help.
If chronic injuries, inflammation, or muscular tension has you feeling less than your best, exploring cupping therapy with Faith in Motion can help get you back on track.
Great for unrelenting muscle tension, restricted mobility from past injuries, or unresolved neurological and movement dysfunction.
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization can help improve lingering soft tissue dysfunction.
During your session, your entire body is exposed to infrared light waves that increase the temperature of the air and gently heat your body. This causes your core body temperature to increase at a lower temperature than traditional saunas.
If painful musculoskeletal injuries, postural dysfunctions or nagging nerve irritation has limited your movement, targeted manual therapy relief from Faith in Motion can help.
Whether gradually creeping up or suddenly sharp after awkward sleeping, problematic neck symptoms demand attention before escalating to more widespread headaches or upper back pain.
If bone, joint or muscle pain is interfering with your active lifestyle, the comprehensive services from Faith in Motion's orthopedic therapy team can help.
Are you struggling to stay motivated with your exercise routine or looking to take your fitness to the next level? A personal trainer can be the secret weapon you need to transform your health.
